Telinject
Vario Syringes,
for use in Telinject Vario Pistols and Rifles, is constructed of a highly
durable polyamide, which is similar to the nylon syringe which years ago
replaced the traditional glass hypodermic syringe.
Characteristically,
only the Telinject Vario Syringe has a specially designed tip which houses
the needle with more stability and strength than any other commercially
available remote injection syringe. Additionally, the higher dose volume
Telinject Vario Syringe (5 ml - 20 ml) comes with a steel, reinforcement
cap to provide even more stability, less breakage, more strength, and
dependability than ever before achievable in a remote injection syringe.
Additionally
the Telinject Vario Syringe has these additional features and advantages:
- Light weight:
affording a low degree of impact
- Reusable: therefore
economical
- Excellent in
its flight characteristics: even at long distances up to 70 or 90
meters - safe for application at all ranges.
- Independent of
the influence of outside ambient temperatures: by special order, the
syringes can be modified for use in extremely low (arctic-ice) temperatures.

Needles (Click

Vario System needles
are available in ten sizes, either collared or plain. All sizes
can be fitted with an impact absorber which prevents penetration of the
needle beyond the intended depth. Vario needle silicone sleeves
contain a larger bore than the white blowpipe needle silicone sleeves
and are color coded according to the needle size for which they are made
– GREEN for use on all 1.5 diameter needles and RED for all 2.0
diameter needles. All Vario needles are finely machined to be strong
and atraumatic; the collars on the collared Vario needles are intended
to keep the syringe in the animal for a longer period of time and to prevent
the syringe from bouncing out of the animal. In most instances,
due to torque factors which prevail after the syringe has been emptied,
the syringe carrying a collared needle will fall out of the animal.
Should it be necessary to manually remove the syringe the collar is designed
so that cutting the skin of the animal is not necessary for needle removal.
Various
needle sizes available, plain or collared, with examples of their intended
use on various sizes and species of mammals and birds as well as the U.S.

space and large underlying fat layers or for thick skinned, well muscled
animals: Walrus, elephants, rhinos, whales, large bulls.
Syringe
Safety Caps: These plastic, closed end, poly nylon tubes
are placed over the medicine chamber of the syringe while it is being
pressurized. In the event that a silicone sleeve should leak and allow
a liquid to escape around it, the safety cap will prevent the liquid from
being discharged onto the user of the syringe or other individuals who
are in the near vicinity of the syringes while it is being pressurized.
Available for all sizes Vario Syringes/needle combinations.
IT
IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO PLACE A SAFETY CAP OVER THE LOADED SYRINGE DURING
THE PRESSURIZATION PROCESS. Many drugs used as sedatives or immobilizing
agents can cause sickness and even death of an individual if the operator
is sprayed in the face/eyes and mouth.
IMPACT
ABSORBERS Will be supplied at no charge upon request with syringe

Green/Red
Silicone Sleeves For Vario Needles can
also be bought separately.
Filler
Syringes: These are standard,
hypodermic syringes used with a connector to load liquids into the front
chamber of the syringe and to charge the rear chamber of the syringe with
air.
Required sizes: For liquid instillation - 1, 3, 6 cc's
For air instillation -12 & 20 cc's
